Statement made by Ipoh HINDRAF supporters does not reflect the view of HINDRAF

I refer to the statement made by supporters of HINDRAF from Ipoh and in particular statement made by Ipoh Co ordinator Mr. Moorthy with reference to the appointment of Councillors in the State.

I wish to stress the said statement made by Mr. Moorthy and other supporters in the Tamil daily does not reflect the official stand of HINDRAF and are purely their personal opinions.

HINDRAF have from its inception maintained apolitical stand and does not wish to dwell into the merits and criteria of the said appointments.

We wish to apologize to our supporters for the miscommunication of views presented by certain quarters within HINDRAF.
