I have to say that I strongly disagree with Dr Muhahid's (PAS) statement because Penang is a multiracial state and has just been selected by the UNESCO World Heritage as a new cultural site on 8 July 2008. This will also attract more tourist form all over the world to visit us which will directly boost our tourism economy. CONGRATULATIONS TO PENANG! I LOVE PENANG & PENANG IS MY HOME!

This has been taken out of context. Everyone should view this from the historical and tourism perspective. Whether you have multilingual names on road signs or simply signs at historical places, this is for the benefit of the tourist who comes to visit. To us Beach Street is Beach Street, officially you may call it Lebuh Pantai.

tok guru has made too much of a concession to those umno members in pas. listen majlis shura pas, as far most of non-muslims are concerned, tok guru should just have said, in case of umno, SOCIAL CHATS ONLY AND IN PUBLIC VIEW.
i got a card from a pas member, it says PAS UNTUK SEMUA. now the printer must have got it wrong coz now it seems to be more of PAS UNTUK SEMUA (MELAYU SAJA). so, pls tell me, is pas for semua or is pas for malays first and foremost? pls be frank so we non-muslims can vote accordingly come PRU13. no need for pas to explain or apologise. so simple.
remember, dap is too small to make an impact if they talk cock with mca or gerakan. but not pas. so, if PAS UNTUK SEMUA is true, then just say NO 2 UMNO. otherwise pas pls close shop and all join umno and stop giving us heartburns. thank you.
Yes we must always remain apolitical and strive for our rights and show the racist and parochial govt of the day how much patriotism and love we are capable of showing even more than them if they are fair to their citizens irregardless of race and religion.
