YB S Manikavasagam received news that Majlis Daerah Hulu Selangor has issued a notice to demolish a temple in the premises of House No 13, Jalan 5, Taman Indah Serendah, Hulu Selangor. Not very pleasing news coming out of with consideration of the previous demolished temple at Ampang.

Is this another Sabotage ? What the local Authority trying to show? Can Pakatan Government overcome it?
We understand Majlis Daerah issued notice after received a complain from it’s Councilor (Ahli Majlis) whom happen to be member of Parti Keadilan Rakyat and neighbour residing next to temple since he was disturbed by height of the statue of about 1.8metre.
YB S. Manikavasagam has send his representative to identify the root cause of the problem while awaiting feedback from State Government. He hope the Local Authorities will justify their action to the State Authority by not taking sensitive matters on their own hands.
We would like to hear from representative of Hindu organisation and other NGO on possible solution.

While I am not for demolishment of temples one has to look at both sides of the coin. Is the temple inconveniencing others? Was it built at the right place, please bear in mind too many temples and shrines have been built over the years indiscriminately as and when they like which have been a great inconevenience to residents and landowners.

If he's disturbed with the height of Hindu God maybe he could just close his eyes with black cloth or maybe on behalf of him I can put a request to Hindu God to make him blind.Childish people.Can I do the same complaint about surau that is residing infront of my house.Never learn the lesson after so many damages done to the country.Remember this always,you damage the GOD and the same damage will happen to you and the country.Never challenge the law of GOD.
This people has nothing else to do. Tak bolih bagi orang mahu hidup senang ke. Why so many temple demolition experts in this country?

A temple built inside a house compound? Where is all this thing going to end? As much as I support your HINDRAF right to free worshipping, I think if you guys going to support any Tom, Dick and Harry to simply built whatever they want any where they want than we are opening a floodgate of becoming a wild wild west.
