PROF RAMASAMY STILL MULLING ON THIS MATTER..............

REFER TO THE PRESS REPORT BELOW

Council cancels land allocation to tamil school

The state authorities had revoked land allocated to the Azad Tamil School in Bagan Jermal, Penang.
The school, which began operating in 1946, is presently “squatting” at the Penang Indian Association building and had submitted numerous applications to the state government for allocation of land so that new premises with proper facilities could be built.

The school does not have enough classrooms. There is also no computer laboratory, science laboratory and library.

The paper also reported that the previous government under chief minister Tan Sri Koh Tsu Koon and former state executive councillor P.K. Subbaiyah had approved the land near a Hindu temple in the Waterfall area that was identified by the school parent-teacher association in 2005.

The Penang Municipal Council, which owns the land, had also approved the allocation for the school.

MIC president and former works minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu had also obtained the necessary funds amounting to RM750,000 from the Federal Government to build the new school.

The Penang Municipal Council cancelled the land allocated to the school after the recent general election.

THE LAND AND FUND WAS FOUGHT BY MIC BEFORE THE GE. SO THEY HAVE RESPONSIBLE TOO. WHAT THEY GOING TO ABOUT IT? WORK SOMETHING ON OR GOING TO SAY ITS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS?

Its time for we indians to give a warning sign to pakatan rakyat.

but makkal shakti should boycott the election campaign as a warning sign to them.

no point on crying after things happend. enough of waiting for 50 years.

Trying to pursue a militant option with the closest ally you have, Pakatan, is not exactly the most advisable move. Would you want BN back again? Or Samy Vellu?

You indian are expecting too much. You expect the goverment to give in to your demand everytime you ask for something. When your demand is not met, then you get angry and try to ruin that goverment. If BN goverment is so good, then support them but it seems that everything is not good for the indian.

Well, this is a good sign that now we are watching the performance of the state government and protray ourselves like a mirror to point out what need to be done to improve the community warefare. However to be fair, please don't just focus on newly appointed state government, you should also do the same on state that own by BN because we need to see improvement from both party.

I suggest you to go to your wakil rakyat. as i know, PR isn't like BN; after the election, you are the slave and they are the master.

so far i think, mr. lim is doing a good job.
